Sussex Trug Heritage Centre
Posted on:It is a while since I posted but many things have been happening behind the scenes in preparation for the Heritage Centre. I spent a day with the students of the surveying and planning department at East Sussex College in Eastbourne reviewing their various designs for our proposed new home. The students had made good progress and had designed some interesting buildings. They had carried out a good deal of research into Trugs and Sussex Trug making. I have to say that I was impressed by their enthusiasm.
Next Tuesday I have been invited to the college for the official presentation of the various designs and am really looking forward to seeing their finished work. I’ll let you know how things went!
